Kia on the Boulevard's Top Tips for Installing a Child Safety Seat
The safety of your family is incredibly important to us here at Kia on the Boulevard. In order to stay safe while on the road, we have some tips to share with you regarding how a child safety seat should be installed.
Child safety seats are meant to be used up to about 12 years of age. Choose the appropriate type of seat based on the age and size of your child.
Use the included instructions to properly install the seat. Hang on to those directions in case you need to install the vehicle into another vehicle in the future.
Make sure the anchors and tethers have been tightly secured.
Periodically check to make sure the child safety seat hasn't moved or loosened up.
If you have to use a seat belt to secure the seat, make sure it has been attached while in the locked position.
